We are excited to be so close to going out to serve God in Costa Rica. We are even more psyched about all the share partners that we have gained for this mission trip. Through the share partners' generous financial support, as of June 26, 2008, our entire mission team is 90% fully funded! Thank you! Praise God! Many have also pledged to pray for our mission trip. Prayer is our connection to God and through prayer we will have the strength and power of God behind us. Our great apostle Paul summed it up succinctly in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "pray continually". Share partner support is key in making this a successful trip!
Here are our immediate prayer requests:
- For increased faith of each member of the mission team to enable him/her to serve humbly and effectively. Jesus said in Matthew 17:20, "...I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."
- That all our share partners will participate in doing God's work and grow spiritually through the experience.
- That more share partners will join in the journey.
- For the completion of all pre-trip logistical matters.

As a reminder, here is the work that is planned for us in Costa Rica. We will be helping to complete construction of the International Teams/Sonlife Latin America Multiplication Center in San Isidro de Heredia, Costa Rica. This new building consists of classrooms and meeting rooms that will be used to train and equip Latin Americans to advance the Gospel in Latin America and across the world. We will help to finish the building’s construction by laying flooring, doing electrical work, plumbing, painting, landscaping, etc.
